Ao Fukai Thurston (フカイ・アオ, Thurston Fukai Ao) is the protagonist of Eureka Seven: AO.

CharacterEdit

He is a 13 year-old boy who lives on Iwato Island of the United Islands of Okinawa with an old doctor named Toshio Fukai.

His hair was brown like his father (Biological) but when he entered the Nirvash cockpit his hair turned Aquamarine like his mothers.

His second last name comes from that of the doctor who adopted him, Toshio Fukai.

Ao is the son of Renton and Eureka Thurston.

Not much is known about what happened before Eureka appeared on the island, as well as after she was kidnapped by the United States. It could also be believed that Renton is still alive.

HistoryEdit

Ao was born on the island of Okinawa, 3 years after his birth his mother was attacked by the United States Government and Ao's mother was later kidnapped, never to be seen again.

During elementary school, Ao realized his piloting skills he has from his father and mother, at this point he was able to drive a FP (Car/Van that runs on trappars.)
