Gazelle is the head of a courier agency on Iwato Jima. Although it often appears he is messing around, he is very smart and always knows how to get a good deal. He feels sorry for how Ao has been treated throughout his life for things he did not do, although he has treated Ao badly in the past as well; he has denied treating Ao the same way his family and the villagers have. Gazelle has also denied being part of his family for his father's actions. His real name is Jiro (ジロウ Jirō?).
He is close friends with Pippo and Han. They began working for Generation Bleu after stowing aboard the Triton after Ao and the Nirvash were recruited into the company.
In an alternate history, after Ao Fukai fires the Quartz Gun for the last time, Gazelle leads the Okinawan delegates to negotiate their island's independence with Japan.
