Secret

The Secret that appeared during the Arizona Scub Burst.

Secrets (シークレット Shīkuretto), also known as G-monsters, are unidentified objects in Eureka Seven: AO that arise shortly after a Scub Burst.

Secrets come in a vareity of shapes, sizes, and offensive capabilities. As mentioned by Ivica, no two Secrets have ever been identical. There may be different types of Secret, but they seem to have one goal: to fuse with the Scub Coral, releasing massive amount of energy capable to level an entire region. International rescue company Generation Bleu aims to prevent fusion reactions by destroying Secrets when Scub Bursts appear and securing the quartz of the Scub Coral.

The Japanese Military retrieves and studies a fragment of a damaged Secret, that was destroyed by Ao and Eureka in the RA272 Nirvash, and discovers that they are made entirely of known materials on Earth. Japanese officer Nakamura claims that the Secrets are this world's immune system, fighting alien invaders-the Scub Coral. However this may be a complete fabrication to serve Nakamura's agenda as he reveals that the Secrets never aim at destroying the Scub Coral.

Secrets attack anything that has the form of a human being (like the IFOs) that enters a certain proximity to it, but will ignore anything else that is not the Scub Coral. This behavior did not start until sometime after the Secrets began invading the original series' universe as they originally only attacked the Scub Corals. It is unknown as to why the Secrets began attacking humans, but it may because of the shape of the LFOs are in the shape of a human.
